NV Alto Profilo Prosecco (12 Bottles)
The grapes are cultivated on the hillside vineyards of Treviso, Italy. The fermentation occurs into autoclave, by means of selected leavens and following the best Charmat’s method traditions. The product is a fine Brut, one with a persistent “perlage”. Light straw-coloured wine, dry taste, harmonious and agreeable.
2015 The Admiral Yarra Valley Chardonnay (12 bottles)
Attractive lemon curd and white flower notes dominate the bouquet. Nougat, lemon barley and mealy notes are evident with beautifully balanced French oak. Hints of mineral wet slate are perceptible and will continue to evolve. Fine, tightly structured and pure, finishing with fine citrus acidity. Lemon curd and citrus zest characters dominate with nuances of white of white flowers, nougat barrel fermentation and subtle French Oak. Restraint, plenty of flavour and fine acidity - all hallmarks of a cooler season in the Yarra.
King and the Prince Shiraz (12 bottle)
Pure dark fruits such as blackberry and fresh plum spring from the glass. The palate is juicy and full with flavours of blackcurrant, fig, mocha and a hint sweet spices. The harmonious finish is smooth and long. Pair with slow cooked beef spare ribs, lamb cutlets or rich chickpea and chorizo stew.
2012 Loveton Estate Barossa Valley Shiraz (12 bottles)
Found in the rolling hills of the beautiful Barossa Valley. This wine has deep red-black colour with a dark centre with a bouquet loaded with spicy plum and chocolate notes and the palate is typically firm, rich and with a long finish which is a legacy of the low yielding vineyards of the north-west Barossa. This is certainly a wine that will benefit from a few years of careful cellaring if so desired.
2016 In The Wind Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (12 bottles)
2013 Plump Harvest Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon (12 bottles)
Regal, yet modern. Lifted high notes - an intriguing mix of rhubarb, turnip, radish, parsnip, white chocolate and clove. Scents of blackberry conserve, fig paste, black olive, oregano, bay-leaf, paprika. A hint of high quality French Oak Rhubarb compote carries over onto the palate, energised by blackcurrant and quince allies and red fruits. Tomato chutney/relish/pulp...giving way to savoury tapenade. Dutch red licorice. The feature here is texture....structurally woven, a mesh rather than a coating - tightening by oak, bound by powdery Coonawarra Cabernet tannins. Good grip, natural acidity , deep and long.
